If you are planning a 2-3
day getaway, it's completely possible to
travel only with a backpack sized around 25
liters. Packing correctly, you should be
able to bring everything you need for a short
weekend getaway.
(How to Pack) The
Karrimor Skye 25 is an older pack we have
used for years on multiple short trips. Even after years of use and
multiple trips, the pack looks great and has
virtually no wear. It's small, lightweight,
affordable
and extremely durable. With it's large top
and side pockets there is plenty of room to
bring along all your travel necessities.
As an example of a
similar pack, look at something like the
Karrimor SF Sabre Delta 25 Backpack. This
pack is a more expensive pack, so shop around
and find something comparable that may be more
economically priced. Keep in mind the
features you are looking for such as the ability
to strap a jacket or other clothing to the
exterior, zippered side pockets, separate top
storage, water bottle area, weight and
durability.
When purchasing a backpack, keep in mind
that some are unisex while others come in
men's and women's models. Unisex backpacks
may have torso adjustments while ones
designed specifically for men have a longer
torso length compared to women's having a
shorter torso length. You can read
in-depth information on measuring for a
backpack at
REI.
