I recently brought a small collapsible cup with me on a recent trip.  I had never thought about bringing a travel cup, although I will bring a refillable Water Bottle.

I wondered if this would be something I would use during my trip, or something that I ended up bringing with me and never actually used it.  I used the actual cup shown in the photo below.  It's made of a soft collapsible silicone rubber and takes up literally no room in your backpack, although it is a bit heavy.  You will find many different sizes, shapes, styles and weights of cups out there.

So, did I actually use this?  Actually, I did!

I first gave this a try on our flight rather than the plastic cup they give you for a drink.  It worked fine and when done, you collapse the cup and put the lid back on.  In one location, we had a small bottle of wine, and these worked great to pour the wine without having to find a cup for it.

In conclusion, I would bring it along again as I found it useful but I may look for alternatives that could be a bit lighter weight.
